The story of NORD begins with Lefteris, our founder, who has been shaping the hospitality industry with passion and expertise for nearly two decades. In 2016, he founded Simply Coffee, a small coffee chain in Germany dedicated to specialty coffee. This was followed in 2021 by ØRTH, a modern concept combining fresh bowls, exceptional coffee, and a strong commitment to sustainability and “less waste.” These experiences laid the foundation for the philosophy that defines NORD: uncompromising quality, attention to detail, and the ambition to create something truly special.

In 2023, NORD opened a new chapter. Located in Doukisis Plakentias, a calm neighborhood just outside the bustle of Athens, we combine Scandinavian design, high-quality products, and a clear vision: to create a space where simplicity and excellence come together. From carefully sourced specialty coffee to homemade cakes, every detail at NORD is crafted with care.

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Through a “less waste” approach, thoughtful material choices, and conscious processes, we actively work to minimize our environmental footprint.

But NORD is more than just a café. It’s a startup with big ambitions. Our goal is to grow, build a small chain, and shape the specialty coffee culture in Greece and beyond. Our journey is just beginning—and we invite you to be a part of this story.
